Read Dangerously

Austin Powers once said, "I also like to live dangerously." But what if you're not a thrill seeker? Well, the answer can be found in the pages of a book. The only safe way to live dangerously is through the pages of a book.

I remember the first time that I realized that books could be dangerous. It was when I was in 5th grade and my mom told me, "do not read that Stephen King book that I'm reading. It's not for kids." It was the book Tommyknockers and of course, I would go on to sneak read it from cover to cover. I understood why it was dangerous. It had dangerous words for a 5th grader and dangerous ideas, and I loved it all the more.

Through the pages of a book, you can travel the world, meet knew people, and concur the unimaginable. You could be an international man of mystery or live your life out on a farm. The point is, reading (and writing) can be dangerous and are dangerous, so dare to dream and read dangerously.
